Anabilim dalımızda tüm lisansüstü eğitim Mersin Üniversitesi İleri Teknoloji Eğitim, Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezi (MEİTAM) çatısı altında gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bu merkezde çok sayıda laboratuvar ve seminer salonları yer almaktadır. Anabilim dalımızda dersler bu seminer salonlarında, tüm tez çalışmaları da uygulamalı olarak laboratuvarlarda gerçekleştirilmektedir.

Hedefimiz endüstriye projeler yaparak nitelikli lisansüstü öğrenciler yetiÅŸtirmek ve bu öğrencilerin akademik hayata ve/veya endüstriye kazandırılmasını saÄŸlamaktır. Lisansütü eÄŸitim programında uygulanacak eÄŸitim programıyla, üretim faaliyetlerinde bulunan kuruluÅŸların rekabet koÅŸullarına olumlu katkılarda bulunabilen, sanayi kuruluÅŸlarında, araÅŸtırma kuruluÅŸlarında veya akademik kurumlarda baÅŸarılı bir kariyer için bilgiye ulaÅŸabilen ve mesleki açıdan geliÅŸme gösterebilen, etik deÄŸerlerin ve küresel koÅŸulların farkında olarak katkıda bulunabilen mezunlar yetiÅŸtirmek temel hedeftir. Bu amaca uygun olarak yetiÅŸtirilecek öğrencilerin uluslararası standartlara göre eÄŸitilmesi, problemlere lisansüstü seviyede çözüm üretecek, bilimsel araÅŸtırmaya yatkın ve endüstriyel problemlere çözüm üretecek ÅŸekilde uygulamalı araÅŸtırmaya yönlendirilmeleri bu programın temel amacıdır.
